Reaching the end and starting over



I had a good conversation with Keyondra bout this. Sometime in life we just reach the point where we don't have any other paths to take, so far you have taken many paths, God is kind and give us free will and thank God for chooses, will there will be a point that you will reach a dead end and have to start over. Hopefully, it won't be that point, maybe you just get tired of keep on walking or driving on the path witouth a direction, will this point is your conscious reaching, you know the life you want to have and the life God want you to have but you have been ignording and constantly keep going on various path, will when you reach to this point there only one option, it is to turn back and retrack, what I like to call be reborn. When you are reborn you are also transform. But being reborn mean you will no longer live the life you use to have. It mean you will have a new life and usually a new outlook in life. Things, will start to be in alignment and balance and for once you will start feeling happy. Sometime things does not make sense and you know what? It does not have to be. Yeah, you may only have one piece of puzzle, but that is where faith come in? Trust God and know that things will work out and if it does not that it is made to benefit you. Another of thinking about this is living in the moment. Yes, enjoy each day like it is your last. Really, slow down and breath, do something good for yourself. Believe good things will come and you are beautiful with what you have now. If you have been battleing within and just feeling unhappy, at this point it is time to reposition yourself and start relearning things you already thought you have learned. Yes, learn to love again, learn to eat again, learn to make friend again, learn to read again, learn to care again, learn to take a shower again. Have you been so caught up in life? that you just let yourself go and neglect other aspect of your life will, then it is time to learn these things again. It is shocking, and does take effort but know the law of attraction, when you think postive and live life again, things will just work for you somehow.

For me, I am still on my journey, I have visions I want to achieve and honestly, I dont have every puzzles to help me understand what I need to do, I just know it will work out cause I have faith. I used to worry about the future here and there, and planned and try this and that in term of diet, but I finally understood what it mean to apperciate life, and live with today and stop worrying abou tomorrow. I am a happy person right now! I know I will have my time again, but eventually I will get there. I also wish the best to all my friends and family as they journey onto their road, my vision is to be a postive person, which my actions and words start collorelationg, that will support them. Anyways, all the best on your journey.

It is amazing, I feel accomplished, glad my pregnate sis got me up this morning. She is defiently healthy. It feel so good to start the day earlier. I feel like I am on top of the world. I was made to live healthy and getting my 30 min excerise is part of it. I am addictive to being healthy, I made it a pack to take my son out to Pt. defiance at least one a week especially during the summer. I did 5 mile walks, Trocon probably walked one mile. I am so happy. I think my life is a bite more less choas plus peroid is seizing, so I am happy. I probably go back to my 30min Jullian Micheal. I enjoy looking at nature and all it was nice to walk with everyone there. After my son, take a nap I probably take him out again.

Reliefing Menstrual period with foods

Life is a mixture of good and bad days. If you have faced bad days, you definitely have to go through good days. Sometimes, we neglect our health in certain situations and leave it on natural healing process. But, I believe that natural healing will happen when you supplement your body with good nutrition. The week of menses use to be one of the worst weeks for me. And as, I suffered from Pre- menstrual cycle it made pathetic situation for me. Menstrual period is the most painful for every girl. They need to be cared a bit extra in such situation as; neglection can turn your health into disaster. Personally, I have faced extreme pain and cramps during menses. Thus, I had gone across a series of books and websites, which included good solution. Eventually, I found certain simple remedies that will be helpful in healing the pain. The very first solution in such circumstances is to consume healthy and nutritious food. Food is the best solution to fight against the pain that weakens you. During menses, it is very difficult to consume food. This makes things worst. You may find many such food items available in the surrounding that will help you in such situation.

Food items that you should consume during these days:
Veggies:
Include lots of fresh green leafy vegetables such as spinach, fenugreek, and Spring onions in your daily diet. Try to steam your vegetables instead of frying of cooking them. Vegetables are good source of numerous vitamins and minerals’, thus consuming vegetables gives you sufficient nutrition. They are low in calories, which makes them the best option. Due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties they are highly beneficial in removing toxic material from the body. The nutrition found in vegetables gives you ample strength to fight against the pain. Other veggies such as tomato, green peas, sprouts, cabbage, and avocado are also good to curb down the pain during menstrual cycle.

Water:
Drink plenty of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration and flushing out all waste material from the body. Water is one of the important elements of the body that keeps whole body nourished. It is very much useful in proper functioning of all organs in the body. Water is required to carry out all task of the body. It is the carrier of nutrition, oxygen, and blood to all different organs of the body. During menstrual cycle our body gets deposited with lots of waste material and thus it is important to clear as harmful products from the body. If these waste products are not cleared from the body, they lead to urine infection, stomach infection, and numerous other ailments. Drinking water also heals unbearable cramps in the body. The intake of water relaxes the stressed and twisted muscles of the stomach. Therefore, drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Fruits:
Fruits are the loaded with plenty of vitamins and minerals that provides nourishment to the body. These fruits contains low calorie count, thus it won’t increase your weight. Fruits contain good amount of water, thus keep your body away from dehydration. Consume fruits that are packed with vitamin C, as it rejuvenates your body’s immune system. Due to antioxidant properties, the intake of these fruits will help clearing out all clutter from the body. Milk:
Milk is the powerhouse of calcium. Drinking milk provides you with ample of nutrition that keep you healthy. They also make your bones strong and flexible, thus prevents you from bones diseases.

Food for menstrual cramp relief:
Peppermint:
Peppermint is one of the best remedy to curb down extreme pain during menstrual cycle. You may consume peppermint in numerous forms such tea, raw leaves, oil, or mint candies are also helpful in alleviating pain. Peppermint tea is prepared by adding some amount of peppermint leaves to boiling water. Sweeten this infusion with teaspoonful of honey and drink it two times in day. It will bring an immediate relief to your problems. You may even mix wintergreen oil with peppermint oil and use for massaging. Put some drops of this oil on your stomach and massage for at least fifteen minutes to get relaxed. Even mint candies will do wonders on your cramps.

Hot drinks:

Basil:
Holy basil is one of the scared herb that is beneficial in curing numerous of ailments. The extreme pain and cramps can be cured with the help of basil leaves. Add some basil leaves to boiling water for preparing herbal tea. Sweeten it with honey and drink it three times in a day. This infusion also helps in strengthening the immune system thus, fights with several harmful infections. You may just chew basil leaves to get relieved from pain.

Cinnamon:
According to Ayurveda, this herb is very much beneficial in curing many diseases. Every kid is unique



My son is potty train. He is well on his way. I have him stand at the toilet and he pee, i look at his diaper it was clean, which mean he know how to hold his bladder. In morning, the first thing he tell me was he have to go pee. Every kid is unique and eventually they will learn how to do the things that will help them be independent when the time is right, so don't frost it. He is amazing and love talking lately. What a beautiful child.






My friend is back

No wonder, I have been moody up and down, feeling good one day and bad the next, also got some abdominal pain, it make snice I have my period. I probably going to get some heavy one later. I say i will celebrate so I will but still on my way, I want it to come every month if next month it come I am very going to do something nice. Loosing some pound does help, so I am going to keep it up. Plus, my all my things I order is coming today going to make some good food and do some jullian micheal. Love it!!

I think walking alone does not do much, the point is to raise some money, as future generation, especially because I want to build a community center,it is all about fundraising, so I should practice and get involve with the community. Every little steps counts.

The womb



I have lately, enjoy sleeping with my son. I know I have told you about nights when I feel frausterated, but I actually have more peaceful nights including tonight. I don't know if it is because my son is turning 3 and he seem all of sudden mature and begginging to understand words and even schedule. But I dont really recalled those hair pulling nights anymore. Matter of fact, I would have it no other way. I really enjoy my son precesence and him sleeping with me. It remind me of a child in a mother womb, you know that strong sense of security. When he sleep with me I felt like a child in my mother womb so comfortable and protected . Sometime, I just watch me son face when he feel asleep, it is very peaceful, seeing his peaceful sleep make me feel very peaceful. I even sneak and bring my body close to him, it is so relaxing and comfortable. I enjoy every moment of it. Boys tend to grow up quick so I am going to make the most of it. Oh! Trocon is on his way to potty train thanks to Grandma. She put him in the tub so he can stand pee and it seem to be working. His dad also is helping him to stand pee, so now that all the caretaker is on somewhat the same page he should be on his way, YEAH!! Money save on diaper. Trocon is getting wiser and begginging to understand things so it make it much easier with some effort on my part he is on his way. BEHAVE So YOU Child BEHAVE. So I must walk the walk and live through my example. Peace, I am finally going to snuggle up and off to bed, I woke up to brush my teeth and get some things off my mind now i am good and motivated.

Feeling Good All of Sudden

I must have admit, I was down yesterday and Monday, Today however, I am up and feeling happy all of sudden. Like a brust of energy. I am feeling very good about myself and have so much confident. This is good sign cause I remebered feeling very awesome and postive when I get this naturally high energy. I don't know if it is the timing or maybe I pass the peroid stage, can't tell cause I don't have my peroid, you know the first week of when you about to start your peroid you feel moody, cranky, irriable, just different, well, that is how I was feeling, maybe now I am getting over that stage. I committed to my health so I need to put my effort in it and one day my peroid will come back. Hey, when I have my regular peroid back I will have a celebration for its return, which I will invite everyone to it. Cant wait smile :)

I don't want to focus to much on diet and excerise cause life is more than that, when your body don't function right it does affect your overall wellbeing, I notice when I was on track, I felt amazing and I notice I was postive and every other area in my life seem to make sense. So, this is two simple things I can do for myself and actually my health is to 30 min workout and eat healthy. Again, it is very important to me especially cause of my condiction with PCOS and all. I am happy hehehehehehhe full of energy can't wait to recover from this minor cold and get back on track. I would not say my day is wasteful have been doing lots of researching on recipe and stuff. What to Eat for Breakfast?

You need to be very particular with your meal size and food choices. Contrary to popular opinion, the morning is not the ideal time to eat large meals because during this time your body is in elimination (detox) mode.

When your metabolic system is operating well, you’ll find that you have to go to the bathroom each morning, like clockwork. This is important in order to effectively eliminate toxins and prevent disease. Unfortunately, constipation is an extremely common problem, and part of the reason for this is that your body is not “set” to eliminate properly due to poor diet and improper meal timing.

So, if you’re constipated, or do not automatically eliminate every morning, it’s a giant clue you need to re-examine what and when you eat.

Ori recommends eating only detoxifying foods until noontime, such as:

•Vegetables
•Low glycemic fruits such as berries, papayas or green apples
•Light protein, such as whey protein
Whey Protein—The Ideal Morning Fuel
Not only will whey protein satiate your hunger until lunch rolls around, it can also help you reap greater benefits if you exercise in the morning.

A recent study published in the journal Medicine and Science in Sports & Exercise, demonstrated that consuming whey protein (20g protein / serving) 30 minutes before resistance training boosts your body's metabolism for as much as 24 hours after your workout!

It appears as though the amino acids found in high quality whey protein activate certain cellular mechanisms (including mTORC-1), which in turn promote muscle protein synthesis, boost thyroid, and also protect against declining testosterone levels after exercise.

This is in stark contrast to athletes who load up on carbs to fuel their workouts. Although popular with many, “carb loading” is a mistake, particuarly for people engaged in intense strength training, as you will burn carb fuel very quickly and then “hit the wall.” The same goes for most people who start their day with muffins, bagels, or pancakes for example. This type of breakfast typically ignites a vicious cycle of hunger and snacking on even more carbs. And the more you continue eating these carb snacks, the more insulin resistant you become.

The Proper Time to Eat—Before and After Your Morning Workout
In practical terms, consuming 20-30 grams of whey protein with no sugar added 30 minutes before exercise, and another serving 30-60 minutes afterward can help increase both fat burning and muscle building. If you are only going to do one whey meal, then the one after your workout is really crucial. That’s if you are seeking to increase muscle growth with strength training.

Ori explains:

“During exercise, especially resistance, or strength training, you cause muscle microtrauma. Usually it’s a good thing because this microtrauma actually stimulates muscle development, but this muscle microtrauma impairs glucose utilization in your muscle for about 30 minutes up to an hour, and sometimes more.

This is the wrong time to put carb fuel into the muscle.

But since we are not putting carbohydrates in the meal it’s fine to have your recovery meal about 30 minutes after exercise.

If you exercised properly, you’re not really hungry in the first 30 minutes anyway. And if you feel very hungry, you didn’t exercise well. When hunger peaks up—you typically sense it 30 minutes or an hour later—that’s the right time to eat. So listen to your body.”

Another reason why eating directly after exercise is discouraged has to do with the fact that your body shuts down digestion during intense exercise, and it takes a little while before your body is ready to start digesting food.

Stressed? Watch Your Portion Sizes
Stress shuts down digestion. This is also why Ori recommends eating smaller meals during the working (stressful) hours of the day. In short, your body cannot adequately process a large meal if you’re constantly on the run—physically or mentally.

Whey protein seems to provide great nourishment under those circumstances. That’s if it’s high quality. Whey protein yields the fastest nutrient delivery. It will only remain in your system for 15 to 30 minutes, so it’s very easily digestible and assimilated—providing you with the highest amino acid score than all protein foods. And incredibly, it also gives you a great energy boost without overspiking your insulin.

Yet another benefit of whey is that it promotes production of satiety peptides which help maintain your testosterone and thyroid hormones at healthy levels.

The Ideal Breakfast Combination
As I’ve shared before, whey protein is the staple of my morning meal. I consume one serving prior to exercise, and one after, as described above. The other components I add to my shake are:

•Raw eggs
•Raw organic coconut oil (about one teaspoon)
•De-fatted chia seed fiber and protein powder
•Two Complete Probiotics
•One vitamin K2
The remainder, however, forms an ideal meal for that first part of your day.

“Dairy and eggs compliment each other,” Ori explains. “Basically, they enhance each others amino acid score… they belong to a similar family that has similar components… Both are naturally designed to support development and growth.

Coconut… does add good fuel. It’s the best fat fuel during the active hours of the day… with antibacterial properties… It’s also stable. It doesn’t get rancid, so it’s a very good choice.”

I used to use coconut milk but have switched to Fresh Shores Extra Virgin coconut oil due to concerns about BPA and phthalates in the lining of the cans. As long as you are using a hand mixer it will mix very nicely and you will not notice any solid chunks. The blender also works very nicely for mixing the eggs very well so there isn’t any texture issue to be concerned with.

As for the choice of milk, both raw milk from sheep and goat are rich and alpha lactalalbumin, and the raw milk creates a wonderful synergy with the whey. Whey is, of course, a part of milk to begin with, but when you add raw milk to it, you actually get something similar to human breast milk, according to Ori.

One caveat with using raw milk is that it slows the absorption of the whey, so while it’s great in the morning to give you stamina, you’ll want to avoid using it before your workout if you exercise in the afternoon, because at that time your body has entered the burning phase.

“[I]n the afternoon, just take 20-30 grams of whey before exercising,” Ori recommends.

Just be sure that if you decide to mix anything else into it, make sure it’s low-glycemic.

How to Select a High Quality Whey Protein
Since whey protein is a by-product of dairy, it’s important to make sure it’s derived from grass-fed, non-hormonally treated cows. It should also be minimally processed in order to preserve beneficial immuno components such as immunoglobins, bovine serum albomin, lactoferins, and other key amino acids and nutrients.

Most commercial whey products are derived from pasteurized dairy and processed with heat and acid, which destroys the whey's fragile Immuno components and damages important amino acids. Many of them also contain chemical additives, detergents and artificial sweeteners, which are known for their health shattering effects. And contrary to popular belief, artificial sweeteners actually sabotage your weight loss efforts by impairing your ability to regulate your appetite naturally.

In addition, you'll want to look for medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), not long chain fatty acids. MCTs are easily digestible, and they spare branch chain amino acids and leucine from degradation to energy. Hence, they increase the utilization efficiency and anabolic properties of the whey. A Novel Way to Add Probiotics
Probiotics can also be added to your shake. In fact, probiotics increase the bioavailability of your protein and they play a critical role in protecting your body from waste toxins, pathogenic bacteria, and yeast infections.

One way of doing it is to place it directly into the whey powder. Another option is to open the capsule and pour the probiotics into your raw milk. Then place it in the fridge and let it ferment overnight, or for a few days.

What you end up with is a sour milk that is highly beneficial not just for your digestive system, but also for your cardiovascular system. It will also act as a cofactor for muscle building as they help your body utilize and produce amino acids.

Fighting Minor Cold


Both Trocon and I have a minor cold, probably from Easter day walking in a cold and when it was springkiling rain. Anyways, It took me by surprise on Monday 25. My body is a bit weak and recovering. I can tell because I get restless night, so my body is always so heavy in the morning. I was about to start my 60 day challenge but I am going to wait a little until my body feel more better. I have not been eating healthy but will soon start cause I am going foods shoping Wed. 27th, plus I order some kitchen materials on amazon like a food processor, jullian Micheal dvds 3 pack, and blender $15 small travel one that will do the trick for now, that should help me to eat healthy and going raw. So, this week I will focus on the diet part also I will get my menu plan for the week on Wed. 27th. Anyways, I should get more rest so my body should recover. Sad,I am no longer pooping in the morning I don't remeber actually pooping it is a sign to eat healthy. Anyways, I will eventually get it right, yes one step at a time.

My bed messy, but comfortable. I divide bed from the couch and tv to create a small living. I really just divide the room in half.






I imgine this room before I even move in I finally made it become a reality from my vision cool huh??






I am satisfy for now. I don't need to think of the future. I know I will eventually move and God will let me know when it is time. I have my own bathroom and big space for two people it is actually good. I can't really complain much, so I must make most and be greatful. FOr this is my time here right now and i have to make the most of it.Enjoy my room.

Im planning to work hard, I got me 60 + days challenge calendar up. I need to add creative piece before I upload it on here. Sunday, is my rest day I am doing to do a low cardio work out like walking, strechting,etc. Sunday, also my jucing day. I think it is important for your body, mainly your digestive system to rest as well. My before image is not good hey I did a self timing but you can see the fat on my stomach and arm. I will do a better blog of this including measurement later. Right, now I am going to work on my schedule to max. my result. I want my summer body, so that is why it is 60 days plus challenges, I mean I will keep it up for life, but probably going to focus on the diet part of eating raw and doing low cardio workout especially summer, I firgure just walking alone will burn alot of calories. Anyways, watch my journey.

Single Mother Life






The reality of the single it is hard but I know I can make it. I did some reflection of my life, after getting frausterated with Trocon last night again. It hit me the reality that I am a single mother. I will soon have to make many decisions. I works with kids every day at the BGC I knew that majority of the families there was single parent. It was true in number more than half was. Some of the kids have some behavorial problems. The solution lies on the parent, but what can you do when you have to work and provide for your kid. I finally understood, something single parent just don't have a choice.

My original plan after I graduate was to take summer off and spent time with my son. I knew I have not spent enough time with him, especially now that he is turning 3 I wanted to take time to potty train him, cause my babysitter grandma and aunt is not going to teach him. This of course changes, cause now I am a single mother. I need some sort of income to pay the bills and live comfortable. It looks likey daycare or childcare is one option, although I was so resistant to it before. The things is, I will still most comfortable if he is potty train before going to daycare or childcare. I don't know what the future holds but for me I had to hold true to my vaule which is family, before all else. I think I need to find a part time job allow me to work only 3 days with a good pay, this will give me times with my son. I lost the opportunity with BGC they are no longer hiring however I know they will again cause lots of people will be quiting in the Fall. I am just going to leave it to God and do my part put application in. Something will work out that will fit my need. I have to be pickey I don't want to work cause I need money, the work should work for me. I think we must never forget I value and what we hold true to.

It is tough being a single parent. Single parent is often misunderstood. They get judge for not parenting their kids right. Blame for having kids to early and more. I know when I was pregnate I never thought my life will be this way, do you think if people really know will they have done it? No. Well, I should take responsibility though. That why I recommend wait if you don't have your stuff together. Because you can focus on whatever is you doing. When you have a thrid person you time is divided. My ex took the easy way out and left me, so that he can live his dream and live the way he was used to. I am not judging the person but I think majority of it was he can't take it no more. I will be frausterated and yes, I was unkind and nag because I had expectations just like he does, for this reason, we end up the way we are now. It is good for my son anyways, cause he is more happy. Sometime making that big decision is in the best interests of the family. I have seen family together and argued alot sometime it is not worth it when two people are still unmature. Sometime leaving the other person not only help you because you are no longer obligated to the other person, let he or she grow on by themself instead of frosting them is best. Okay back to judging others. It is not good don't do it. I am gulity of doing it at the store and even at school. I am pretty we have encounter a situation when we went to the store and witness a situation where the babies crying non stop. I had that situation I remembered feeling embrass cause I could see the people around me looking disgusied as if I did not try to calm my son down. My one day I went to the store to buy some goods for the household maybe even for my son and people stared and judge me, as if I was not supposed to even come, like I come to the store everyday or something. The point is no one like this situation they tried their best and something kids will be kids. Next time, I see the situation like this I won't judge, instead, I might even offer some help or say something nice. When this happened to me, it would have been nice to have some say " I know, what you going through you try your best" wow that is powerful. Too much in our lives we have people saying negative words; instead of nice, supportive words. If one person instead of giving me advice or tips tell me " Nan, you are amazing, you try your best" that would have been wonderful and encouraging, that will keep me motivated. I made another commitment to praise others and be postive whearther than negative words. Actually, the group of people who some what give me postive words is people at school. Many is growing through the same thing I am , maybe that is why they are so encouraging. I will work hard to be postive.

I was a very postive person, I kind of lost it when I got married because I started to have expectations, fraustration, etc. I want my son to have an admireable mother with the postive energy.

Have been off balance but I am back on track!!!





Observation this week:
Like most of you already know I have been off track and was living my old life. How does it feel
to live my old way? Terrible. I ate small portion sort of and try to be concious, rice and meat, yet it was not working for me. I offical can't eat that way cause my body won't allow me to. When I did this is what happen to me mentally and physically. My butt hole area is hurting because my poop is hard,so it create some tear. My stomach look like an apple and always bloated. I feel like I am chain to 50 pounds bowling ball. Mentally, I am tired, lazy, and not as happy as I was when I was on track and have clarity in my mind. I feel like when I eat unhealthy food, I get irritated easier, imbalance, and negative, abdominal discomfrot, have more acne, facial hair growing like no tomorrow, and I have problem sleeping. I just been so tired to even work out.

Reflection: I should have push myself to work out, even when I did not want to. My body was heavy and tired, so I got unmotivated. Looking back, I know now, that if you are doing a 30 day jump start any jump start program it is important to stick to the recomendation, you should work out every day, rest one day I guess can be an exception. Post a note, poaster board, something that will motive you during days you just feel tired, this will help you keep on track. Do what work for you, sets goals that is achieveable. For me, my goals is long term so I will have to find other workout that will help me on my journey. Oh! I think if you really want to loose weight and keep it off, your weight lost goals should be long term, just doing 30 day won't work, that is why it is call jump start. Right,when I got off not working 3 days, I gain almost the amount of weight I lost, yes it is that quick. This help me to realize I should aim for a long term goals and start doing realistic goals that is achieveable. Hey, you want tranformation know that it will take time and allow youself to loose weight on its own pace, think of it as being fair, it took you years to gain weight, so let your body take its time to loose weight. Set goals like 10 pushup to 20 pushup. Make sure whatever goals you set it should be achieveable and measurable. Do measurement etc. I am not big on mesurement. However, I do want to regain my strenght, so I will do a self strenght test. I got an ideas of my diet part that is more realistic, which I will talk on a different blog when I am ready.




In conclusion, I think it is important to make note how you feel when you do this and that, in other word, observation, because when you do, you can think objectively and realiese although in the moment I was feeling hungry for that cake, your past experience will trigger; however, I remember experiencing this.....Good methods to use in almost any aspect of our life. I can't say if tomorrow I will work out but I will aim for it. I will start offically again on Monday. Meanwhile, I will also do some research. Sleep is important, I need to work better on this and my water intake, I think I had a downfall also because I am not getting enough water. I think if I have enough water my body will be more regulated. Anyway, peace and all the best.

No matter what the cause, weight gain can be detrimental to your health. Women with PCOS are more likely to develop many of the problems associated with weight gain and insulin resistance, including:

type 2 diabetes

sleep apnea
All of these conditions can lead to heart disease. In fact, women with PCOS are four to seven times more likely to have a heart attack than women of the same age without the condition.

Experts think weight gain also helps trigger the symptoms of PCOS, such as menstrual abnormalities and acne.

What can I do to lose weight if I have polycystic ovary syndrome?
Losing weight not only can help you look better -- it can also make you feel better. When you have PCOS, shedding just 10% of your body weight can bring your periods back to normal. It can also help relieve some of the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome.

Weight loss can improve insulin sensitivity. That will reduce your risk of diabetes, heart disease, and other PCOS complications.

To lose weight, start with a visit to your doctor. The doctor will weigh you and check your waist size and body mass index. Body mass index is also called BMI, and it is the ratio of your height to your weight.

Your doctor may also prescribe medication. Several medications are approved for PCOS, including birth control pills and anti-androgen medications. The anti-androgen medications block the effects of male hormones. A few medications are used specifically to promote weight loss in women with PCOS. These include:

Metformin (Glucophage). Metformin is a diabetes drug that helps the body use insulin more efficiently. It also reduces testosterone production. Some research has found that it can help obese women with PCOS lose weight.
Thiazolidinediones. The drugs pioglitazone (Actos) and rosiglitazone (Avandia) also help the body use insulin. In studies, these drugs improved insulin resistance. But their effect on body weight is unclear. Also, the FDA has restricted Avandia for use in new patients only if they can't control their blood sugar on other medications and are unable to take Actos. Current users can continue Avandia if they choose to do so. All patients using Avandia must review and fully understand the cardiovascular risks.Flutamide (Eulexin). Research has found that this anti-androgen drug helped obese women with PCOS lose weight. It also improved their blood sugar levels. The drug can be given alone or with metformin.
Rimonabant (Acomplia). This obesity drug has been shown to promote weight loss in women with PCOS. Once women stop taking rimonabant, they tend to gain the weight back. But starting metformin after rimonabant can help women maintain their weight loss.
In addition to taking medication, adding healthy habits into your lifestyle can help you keep your weight under control:

Eat a high-fiber, low-sugar diet. Load up on fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and avoid processed and fatty foods to keep your blood sugar levels in check. If you’re having trouble eating healthy on your own, talk to your doctor or a dietitian.
Eat four to six small meals throughout the day, rather than three large meals. This will help control your blood sugar levels.
Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day on most, if not all, days of the week.
Work with your doctor to track your cholesterol and blood pressure levels.
If you smoke, get involved in a program that can help you quit.

For me, loosing weight is vital. I am already at risk because, I was told to have high cholesterol and my dad passed away from heart attack, actually, when I ask my mom she told me that bascially the fat clogged the blood, which is realating to insulin. I don't like pills nor don't like visiting the hospital. For this reason I must take back my life!! When it come down to it I maded the choice which lead me to all these other problem. I am also the one that make the choice for life! It will take time, but time is not the problem. Because if I vaule time why would I abuse myself by shorten my life through consuming unhealthy foods and living unhealthy. I want to make the most of life. Focus on the postive

Okay, there is a lot of wrong I can learn from in term of my diet and exercises, even my whole goals, but I am going to focus on the positive. The important part is learning from the mistakes and aiming to fix it the next time around it if does occur. Okay, focusing on the positive, I have a good day with the kids at the Boys and Girls Club and with Trocon we did arts and crafts painting and hand painting which I am going to frame. Beside diet and exercise goals I have other goals as well which include taping into my creativity. I bought a whole bunch of arts stuff which I finally start using. So my days went well. I just have to work out. Tomorrow is a new day. I have lots to do. I will work on being more organize. I do believe planning ahead of time does help you increase your chance in your outcome. Remember SMART, weekly planning is probably good. You know what I told myself after 3 month or so when I am basically use to the whole routine of working out and probably loose weight as a result, I will take a professional picture of me and Trocon to hang in my room it is one of my vision. I believe having a vision is good, not that you should live in the future, but have you heard you have to able to see it, say it, and believe it, so that it can become a reality. So seeing it part of making your dreams, goals, etc. come true. Remember God want you to be successful in life. Know that God will bless you with more blessing when you do put trust in God and willing to put in the works to make it happen. Yes, remember you have to put in the works. Again, balance is the key, sometime we can be too caught up with the things of the world including our physical form remember always God will. God don't want your life to be about working out and balancing diet, God want you to have life and when the time comes and with prays and faith God will guide you and help you find balance.
Balance is this peaceful feeling and satisfaction because every aspect of your life is in harmony. This is my definition. I will reach to this point eventually. Notice, I did not say hope, hope is wishful thinking. I know I can achieve this through God, so it shall be done. Anyways, stay motivated and know your effort counts.

Finding Balance

Hey, Almost time for me head off to bed, I just got done working out, it is like the only thing I seem to be committed to. The diet part is not working because of new year, so I went a little crazy doing the weekend oh well just mean I took my 20 percent just know that you try your best and at least kept up with the working out part, so weekday have to work harder, life is more than working out of course, but I do feel best when eating healthy and working out. I notice I at least dont have the lazy syndrom so much lol. Anyways, took a nice cold bath, brush my teeth, use my acne medication, and exflotiate probably face going to be dry but that is fine I don't want to put lotion at night. Anyways, I will work hard to find my balance that work for me. At least now working out is fun and easy.

Thoughts on Parenting

I had a rough night with Trocon tonight, sometimes I feel like I am not a good mother. I try my best but it is really hard when you don't have your stuff together. I finally understand why they say wait first. I mean, it you have the patient and things will work out but it really unfair for Trocon sometimes to deal with my emotion and fraustration. He is a reflection of me and I do need to disclipline him more. Tonight going to bed he pull my hair like always, but tonight it was really painful. He cry and cry we fought even at the bath, I dont know why I am so rough with him but I need to be patient and clam down. Anyways, I finally clam down after walking away from him and when I clam down I had a conversatoin with him, I thought him when he pull my hair it hurt I was wrong for hitting him and it is not nice to hit people and mommy shouldn't hit you so no more hitting, I am sorry. I love you and be gentle with mommy hair I finally taought him it is a process but I will work on it. I love my son darly and I need to focus on him more so I am going to create a new plan and reminder for myself in my journal or on my board.

A good work out

I just got done with a good work out with Jullian Micheal level 2. I am sweating more than ever. Tonight, I push myself. I had a okay day of spending time with my family but this morning I could have done more productivity in term of spending time with Trocon. I have tomorrow to focus my attention on him and other days as well, we will return back to this topic. Anyways, I did not eat healthy as I would like, I got a good start but my mom got temple food so I ate it. I ate meat, noodle, etc. you name it. Anyways, so tonight I push myself to work out harder to burn some of the foods I eat. Anyways, it is almost 2 weeks now snice I work out, and now workout is just part of my life,so nothing to it but to do. I actually have lots of pleasure working out now. Awesome Day!! :)

Hi all, I had an awesome day. I start out eating banana, oranges, mangos, more mango. Vegetrian sandwhich with one whole advacado, sprouts, onions, and cucumber. For dinner had some breaded fish, from work BGC, with nice salad and peach. I am very full. I am on my way to healthy eating, I have to work on the diet part, but I am not going to stress over it, I think when i have my own place I will go with raw food diet. Or at least 80 percent of the time, meanwhile I will continue to do my research and make a recipe book. I just have work out to do tonight. Just so everyone know I am now 150lbs, yeah!!! I am getting there slowly but surely. OH! also I am on level 2 of jullian micheal goodbye level 1. I might do it still when I am motivated and want to burn fat area in level 1. Sorry bad grammar have a cut on my hand. I have to return my food processor it is not worth it I can't firgure how to use it, plus cheaper one at kmart.Anyway, I am full of energy today. I can't wait till i reach my goal of 130lbs.Also, have some fish, half vegertrian sandwhich and salad thing already for tomorrow left over food. Great huh? My breakfast is usually some sort of fruit. I went shoping got some good stuff. I can't wait to use it. I probably going to try the raw food a whole week, when I am ready as detox. There day I eat no carb or no fish and day when I eat healthy carb and healthy meat or at least a small portion. SO there is defiantly improvement. I have a choice just to keep up eating the way I do and just work out to loose weight or go with the raw food. I think once I reach my 130 or maybe more, I will start changing my diet and loose weight that way. Hey, it start from somewhere and once I acheive one thing I know I can acheive more. My goal is to be 130lbs by summer so June when I graduate, hopefully sooner. Tomorrow is going to be an awesome day of spending time with Trocon I have lots of art and craft to do with him. Hungry for sucess, confession

I don't know why but maybe because I am almost done with one part of my life, in term of school. But lately, I have been hungry sucess. This can be good and a bad thing. At time it make me feel unbalance. The point is I want sucess in all aspect of my life, health, love, career, family, etc. I thought about the future here and there and believe it is great. I feel like I am sucessful. I can't really put it into words. Lately, I feel like time have been moving very quickly. Making me feel the need to take actions everyday that count for my sucess. God want us to have sucess, but we must not forget about him. Today, the truth is I felt unbalance and the mean reason was I look at my life and what is happening to me with my situation and all. I reliese part of me wanting sucess so much because I feel like I have put a lot of effort and time in school. In addtion, I wanted sucess almost to prove myself. Maybe, when we fail in one area of our life, we want to succeed in another. I'm glad I am writing this because this is what God inspire me to write tonight. I want sucess but only if it is in alignment to God will. I feel choatic today mentally, although I have an overall good day, I am officially level 2 of Jullian Micheal, anyways back on topic the point was I have to be very consious mentally about my thought. It is good to want sucess but it is not good when you become greedy of it. I just pray that God help me to not become greedy and get too much caught up in this world, because what matter most to me is me representing God and following his will. I need to refocus my attention on him. It is funny how we have time for so many stuff but God. God please forgive me. I am going to do an reflection of things gotta go Trocon woke up Goodnight.

Working Hard

Got an good start of my day, did level 1 Jullian Micheal, I feel like I was not burning enough fat. I think it is time for me to move to level 2. My stomach is coming back, so I have to make a very consious effort of my diet. Good news, I got my menu set for one day, still working on it, can't wait. I will post it soon. I want to make the most of my life, so I will make a schedule things again it help me make the most of my time. Lost my small journal sad, hopefully it is at work. Anyways, I can't wait. I am going strave to eat a lot of raw food. The hard part about the raw diet it does require time, especially when starting. I can't believe how much veggies name I don't know. Anyways, of course you want the best nurtient so that is why planning help to not waste money and food. You buy what you need for a week. Especially veggies, they are perisable so plan ahead of time. I may or may not eat meat maybe here and there but it is simple I will just add it to the raw food and on day I do not want to eat meat I will add almond with something almond alone does not provide protein you need to add amino acide something like that, I will make sure and edit this part later. Anyways, soon like a good plan to me. I have not focus on my son so I need to make my day schedule plan, like I have before and blow it up big and hang it on my wall as reminder of what I should strave for on my daily day. Reflection on my Relationship Important of 3rd string

So what happen? Life happen. You see I honestly believe in the 3 string. Everytime I look back on my relationship and exhusband what was missing is the 3 string, God. I don't feel like going on in depth because I do believe that my exhusband try to make the relationship works but at some point he got tired. The downfall was he did not communicate any of his concerns. He started to see me as someone who is hindering him from his potential. When two people started to feel disconnected it leave them open to satan. That is why I believe with the 3 string, you have a stronger shield or chance to fight for your marriage. Once there is a crack in your marriage, Satan is going to cause destruction in your marriage through all means. Looking back, there was so many clues that our marriage had problem but at some point I got tired of dealing with it. I started to think that separation was easier then dealing with the problem. Be careful what you think, God is always listening to what your heart desire. I know I contribute to the problem because, if I was Godly there was no way the person had an excuses to and flip the script making it seem as if they are "victim". Actually, they are "victim" of past failures. I will never know what the person motive was. But I do believe we both try for the marriage and for our son, whom we both love. Don't get me wrong the other person also play a role to the problem. You see my ex is the type that is really pridefull, stubborn, and don't like to communicate. Some people when they face the marriage problem they are able to overcome. However, I sense that my ex did something that cause the marriage to no longer be rescueable. At some point, you know that it is over. God will also inform you somehow. Always, first seek God guidence and his will, he willlet you know. Let me put it in my sister term Syna. My husband still is not awaken. What does that mean? awaken become consious and stuff. He continue to make the same mistakes because he is not yet awaken or consious. He allow his flesh and desire to take over vs. God. Actually, that was also my down fall, at some point when my marriage was having trouble I was so busy work and school, with life that I start to become spiritually disconnected. It was after the time of separation when I decided to return back to God. Satan sometime play with my emotion causing me to have up and down. But once I choose God and follow his words I finally have peace like right now. I finally, trust that more good is to come. Also, I keep feeling something good is going to happen to me. I can't explain it. Before I was living life without being consious now I am so aware maybe that is why I feel different. In addtion, I feel more postive, defiantly I was meant to let my husband go. I still wish the best for him, I can see him plotting against me because of fear, especially with the legal process, but I won't have fear or worry. God will protect me, as long as I put my trust in God, I believe I will be favor. There was defiantly alot of lesson from this marriage and maybe it was just for the time. I am very greatful for God. That was just one part of my life, I feel like I am coming to a new beggining, with more blessing to come cause this time I have God who strenghten me. I hope this will encourage you, don't loose hope. I once felt like everything around me was against me. But I reliese everything around me is working for me. Think about it, I am glad the timing was just right! So fear not and put your trust in God.

Not a Victim but a Beauty

I have been experiencing a dramatic changes in event in my love life. Deep Deep down I wanted it to work and deep deep down I knew it was over. I was experiencing some battle within myself in regard to what to do. I later got a confirmation. I believe God uses people or someone give you answer somehow, they say seek and you will receive answer. I finally knew I have to "let go". Of course things are still in process, in term of legal matters, but finally within me I finally have peace within myself. I call this "growth".
You know what the best part is? I have to share this with everyone because it is an overstanding that many people commonly make a mistake in. Tonight, God give me this wisdom to share with everyone. Although I already make my decision of letting the person go, I still was feeling very confuse in the inside. I did not understand why I was feeling this way and I can't help but to have thoughts in my mind. I started to become judgemental of the person and try figuring out the person motive, which I probably will never know unless God choose to reveal it to me. I believe God protect us and he will only feed us in the amount he know will make us full. However, sometime people asks for more then what they can handle, which can lead to unfortunate events. My point is I started to see myself as a "victim" a victim of my ex-spouse. I felt used and betray, this of course is normal. But here is where wisdom come in. Did you know that when you see yourself as victim most likely you are going to experience similar experiencing or bitterness which always replay as you being a victim? You see those who continue to see themselves as victim continue to make mistakes. It is quiet easy to see yourself as victim in this imperfect world. Here a few: Are you a victim of war? divorce? past failures? foods? etc. You see the way we acts, thinks, feel deep down inside in our soul, always display or manifest somehow, and we will confront ourselves and reasoning with ourselves as victim using it as an excuses for our mistakes. Well, here come wisdom.
I no longer feel angry toward my ex-spouse because I relies and choose not to be a victim. When something dramatic changes occur in your life, there always various of actions or roads to take, which one do you choose? I know it is hard and often easy to feel like a victim, but forgiveness does set you free. That was my world, with that I always suddenly feel very beautiful? You know why? because within me I feel like I have a very beautiful soul. Some people may say I am too kind and give me advice on what to do next? All in good intentions, for example, like my brother right away he was like child support and stuff basically, telling me I should not let the person off easily. I believe he say this because he was a "victim" of divorce. I actually do not know what I will do next, I think the more I have peace and clarity when the times come I will know what to do, just like this situation in term of letting my ex go. All the glories goes to God. I know he will guide me so I am rest assure, plus I know I did all I can and so I have peace.
What that say, I have to consider what is best for my child. Divorce is a reality of many families and result always impact the kids. Did you know your bitterness toward your ex will impact your child? I have seen it in many families. Even in your nonverbal action your child will sense it. I want my child to have a good start in life and be wonderful young man, of course I will have to be the example and reality is my ex is still going to be around my son and I think it is best. Many women because of their bitterness use the child support as mean to get even. Child support take almost half of the person earning, it depend, all i know it is a good amount. Sometimes, the person who pay child support, especially because they might already see themselves as victim, will become withdrawn and may not even want to be around the child because of all the battle and the bitterness the parents have toward each other. It can easily become an cycle and defiantly affect the child well being. When making your decision I think it is good to be considerate, it is simple act of kindness. If the person, agree without a fights great! but if there is hesitation and a battle I don't think it is worth creating issues over this matter and probably can come to some sort of agreedment.Always, check your own motive. I know this is not always the case, sometime some guys, leave women without nothing financially so. In my case, I believe I can use a simple act of faith and trust in God, which mean my action should be in alignment to his words. I am pretty sure what a simple act of kindness you will be favor and somethings good will work out. The person might come to realization on their own.I do not want to risks my child feeling angry toward his dad, I will have to forgive the person and furthermore pray for the person to return to God. How many people will sincerely pray for people who have done them wrong? Hopefully, a lot of people. But the point is that is beauty. Wouldn't you want to be around this kind of person? I am very confident and have high self esteem I can't help it. All the glories goes to God. Raw Diet And Plan

I do not know how I am going to do this but I know that I see myself doing the raw diet. My goals is to at least go for the raw diet 80% of the time. I may still eat fish for omega 3 and protein. I hate to calories count but it looks like I am going to have to. This mean I have to plan ahead of time vs. not eating raw food. I decided to decrease grain food as well cause this contribute to my health problem. I know I can get enough carborhydrate in fruits. The hardest part about this diet is caluculating the calories because everything is not whole pieces but little pieces. It is much easier to count a chicken leg than how many ounce of spanish or cups. I look at some raw food recipe and I was like some of it looks like you can actually gain weight because of all the nuts you are eating. However, there is so many reasons why I decided to go wit the raw diet. Mainly, because of health reason. You know I also believe it make sense to try to eat food in their purest form. So even if i eat fish the key is to not fry it but bake or steam. Fish is nice cause it cook fast. I am going to avoid eggs altogether I love chicken but it is time to stop consuming it so much. I have high cholerstrol and should only consume good lean meat that is beneficial. I also like about the raw diet is the recipe is simple it does take time, which mean you need to plan ahead especially with dehydrating stuff; however, it is simple and I like the fact it is homemade and you will always know what is in it. Organic stuff can be tricky and still have lots of soduim. I mean how else can cookies and stuff last long. With raw diet you can make recipe even dessert and know you are getting the healthy stuff.

In term of workout I do not have this figure out, yet. However, I am going to invest in raw protien when my body tells me it feel weak or drink some after a workout. That seem like a quick fix. I am collecting website that is useful to help me sucessful including recipe and nutrient information site, which will help me count my calories. I will always aim to eat as much of what I needed. The key is to feel energies, refresh, and alive.

Lately, although I am working out I do not feel refresh or have lots of energy like workout should do to you. It mean my health is going down and something is impacting it and I need to work better in term of taking care of myself. My bed will be early.

I am going to stick with Jullian Micheal for 30 days maybe longer and whatever result it is what it is. We will see. All I know is I have a visoin not only will I loose 20lbs from 30 days sherd like it claim, which will put me at 130lb I will take it further. You know what my goals is to be 110 my BMI. I do not know how I am going to get there. I just know it will happen. Probably by next year 2012 or a litter after 2012. This is one of my goals.

I want the energies girl I was back and that mean I need to do some work in my diet and lifestyle. My accomplish is to find peace in this area of my life, health, and be balance cause I know my hormone is whack. I know all will be accomplished through Christ who streghten me. I can't wait for the transformation look like it is near by.

Laugh it off!

I delicate this to God. All the glories goes to God. Okay, my page is call sucess in life is God will, do you know why? Cause I really do believe it. Asks and you will be recieve. Did you know there is some many powerful verse in the bible about promises. So you know what, whatever it is you want. God want you to be sucessful. So, know that it shall be done and rest assure. Live life like it is already done. So don't be shy and afraid to ask God. No job is too big for God. Even when things does not been answer or work out know that God is doing it on your benefit and that more blessing is to come. So Give thanks to God for answer and unanswer prays. Start living life like it is already been done through God. Yes, not only do you have to asks you have to start living it; in other words, you also play part of the equation to your success because you are the one living it, that mean you have to put some works in whatever it is you want to be sucessful. Can't expect to sit and watch TV and expect transformation right? Do something so that God can bless you. LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH, it is really that simply. Trust and have faith in God even when things does not turn out well, know that he is doing it for your benefits.

Diet Check

I made a diet mistakes. Today, I was very tired and my muscle feel week. Turn out I probably do not consume enough protein needed to repair my muscle and enough calories. I can't believe how much calories I can consume in a meal. So 500 calories main meal, and 250-300 calories in snacks, with my working out. I can consume less and not work out on my resting day. It make sense. So make sure you do all your researches. Tomrrow is a new day. I am still interesting in raw diet and will do it later after I get my balance back. I set myself on a 6 month plans to see if things change. I am going to the clinic one more time and do a blood test to check everything. I know it is only a week but I want to make sure if I got PCOS and make sure to see if I really have high cholestrol and insulin restaint. You know these thing does not matter, I am on a journy to living healthy and I know I will get it right. All things are possible through God.

Goals

I have some many goals. Health: 1. A whole year without any health problems. 2. Loose weight current 155lbs, note with date mean accomplished. With Jullian Micheal 30 day sherd. loose 5 lbs=150 4.15.2011 loose 10 lbs=145 loose 15 lbs=140 loose 20 lbs=135 3. Transition to eating healthy raw foods. Buy good quality material included: Food Processor Dehydrator Bleander Knifes Nice dishes, I believe presentation make a different. To Do lists: -Make a one week menu -Go gocercy shoping fresh vegatables: zunich Nama Shoyu Raw Honey Buckwheat Manna bread/also known as bible bread, interesting.

Just Got Done with eating Dinner

I just got done with dinner. I ate one whole apple, 5 carrots, some salad with half an avocado and olive oil and roasted almonds. I am full, the food is not so good. I just eat to get full. I already did my workout around 4ish Trocon nap. I feel full and energetic maybe I should do some low cardio. Although I should be relaxing and get ready for bed. I need to plan my menu for the whole week. I want to eat raw foods. I got this awesome cook book I should put into use, so I should head to the store by some ingredients.
Just because I am aiming to go with the raw diet does not mean, the food should not be tasty.

Oh! I haven't told you. Before, I had to use the potty alot because my body was getting rid of some insulin. I have too much. My body feel way better today and I feel like my eye sight is back. I don't have to use the bathroom so much. I am drinking lots of water as well which make me feel good inside.

Okay, this raw recipes look good. Have to try it.
